Back in 2020, the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes bought 157 acres right outside of Mountain Home. Consisting of 2,000 gaming machines, 250 hotel rooms, 6 food and beverage venues, a 15,000 sq. ft. event center, an outdoor race track & concert venue - they are estimating it will generate $187 million annually for the local community.

According to Nielsen Audio's 2022 ratings report, 107.9 Lite FM won the "12-plus" category. Said to play "the best variety of the '80s, '90s and today", the radio station nearly tripled its spring number - soaring from a 2.3 share to a 6.2.
