According to the latest U.S. Census Bureau estimates, Idaho was the second-fastest growing state in the country. Fueled still by an influx of people moving from other states, Idaho has an estimated population of 2 million people. The fastest growing state? Florida, which grew by an estimated 1.9%.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently announced they will be providing Boise with a $263 Million Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) loan. According to this press release "Frequent drought conditions and increased demand on water for irrigation have resulted in poorer water quality and lower levels of water in the Boise River. The City of Boise will use this WIFIA loan to implement its Water Renewal Services Capital Investments Project to modernize the city’s wastewater conveyance and treatment facilities."

Bogus Basin recently unveiled its brand new lounge, The High Peak Hangout. Partnered with Western Collective, the new hotspot will host a weekly music series on Saturdays featuring upbeat DJ sets starting January 28 and running through March 25 from 6-9 p.m.
