Spirit of Boise 2022 Begins

The annual Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic officially kicked off yesterday in Ann Morrison Park. The five-day event brings together locals and tourists alike with endless colorful balloons, live music and more. Check out all of the details  here.

Last Chance for 2022 to Float the Boise River

Still haven't made it out to float the Boise River this year? This coming weekend is your last chance for 2022. The shuttle service and raft rentals will run through Labor Day (Monday the 5th). Learn more here.

Two Tribes Plan Casinos Near Mountain Home

The According to this Idaho Press article, two Native American tribes are pitching proposals to build casinos near Mountain Home, including large-scale concept for hotel, horse track and more. If the project moves forward, the casino will be located just east of Mountain Home city limits (off Interstate 84 near exit 95). Read all the details here.

Future of Garden City Neighborhood "Really Vibrant"

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) recently led a panel to discuss the future of Garden City's Parkway District. And by the sound of this Boise Dev article, ULI's master vision is for the city to have a mix of home types and uses. "During the panel, ULI said in terms of housing that smaller denser units would be a good option for the area. And while Idaho can not mandate affordable housing, the panel gave suggestions how this area can stay affordable." Read the full article here.

Free COVID-19 Test Program to End Friday (Tomorrow)

Kuna Rodeo - This Weekend

After several years of planning, the City of Kuna will be kicking of The Kuna Rodeo this weekend (September 2nd & 3rd) at the Crooked 8 on King Rd (1882 E King Rd). Featured events include bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback, tie down, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, steer wrestling, mutton busting, and more. Find out more here.
