Boise Valley Boom: Retail, Industrial, Commercial are Hot! Experts Weigh in On Current, Future Growth

Meta (Facebook) to Build $800 Million Data Center in Kuna

Formally known as Facebook, Meta recently announced their plans to build a 960,000 square-foot data center. They should be breaking grounds in September and expect to have the facility complete in 2025. "The project is expected to bring about 100 operational jobs to Kuna and more than 1,200 construction jobs during the peak of building the center." Read and/or watch the full report here.

Remote-Controlled Riderless Scooters Finally Set to Hit Boise Streets

Yep, you read that right - remote-controlled riderLESS scooters are coming to Boise. Strange, right!? 300 remote operated scooters will be coming to downtown Boise. Two other cities have tested similar prototypes but "Boise will be the first to host the specially built scooters built with three wheels and cameras to help them park themselves by remote control and even drive themselves to a waiting customer." Nearly Doubling in Size, Meridian Water Park to Become One of the Largest in the US

Already deemed the Northwest's biggest water park,  Roaring Springs is about to kick off it's largest expansion ever, swallowing up a 12-acre lot east of the current space. According to this article, they are planning to add (among other things) a grill & bar area, a new state-of-the-art filtration system, additional luxury cabanas, a forest-themed floating feature with overhead ropes and much more.  If you've been to Roaring Springs you know that parking  can already be a bit of a feat - so we were glad to read that additional parking is being incorporated. In the Market for a Winery? This Idaho Vineyard is Listed for Sale

Currently listed for $2,690,000, Lindsay Creek Vineyards sits on more than 22 acres in the Lewis-Clark Valley near the north Idaho town of Lewiston. It comes with a 15,422-square-foot production facility and half an acre of grapes (including Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Tempranillo). In downtown Boise, construction on Myrtle Street has (an continues to) transform Boise's skyline.
