SUMMARY: If you group together both existing and newly constructed single-family homes and compare those numbers to the same month one year ago (detailed in the top infographic):
- Inventory increased by 131.5%
- Median sales price dropped slightly (coming in at $525,000)
- Homes are remaining on the market for a longer period of time (47 days compared to 29)
- Overall fewer homes sold (sales were down by 39%)
- Inventory increased by 127%
- Median sales price was $500,000 (a decrease of 2.5%)
- Homes are remaining on the market for a longer period of time (43 days compared to 25)
- Overall fewer resale/existing homes sold (sales were down by 44.9%)
- Inventory increased by 136.8
- Median sales price reached $623,237 (a slight increase of 3.2%)
- Homes took (on average) longer to go under contract (58 days opposed to 42)
- Overall fewer newly constructed homes sold (a 19.2% decrease)
