Idaho Ranked #3 for Maintaining Talent & #1 for Job Growth

Lightcast released their annual Talent Attraction Scorecard and.... Idaho ranked #1 for job growth from 2017-2021 and #3 for maintaining talent in 2022. Both Ada and Canyon County were also ranked among the top 25 large counties across the U.S.

Boise Farmers Market Opening an Indoor Winter Market

Just because it's getting colder doesn't mean you won't be able to continue to get your fill of locally sourced & produced goods (produce, artisan cheeses, breads, microgreens, ciders, pastries, locally made gifts, and much, much more). The Boise Farmers Market (BFM) recently announced that they will be opening their BFM Indoor Winter Market this Saturday, November 5th! It will be located in the old Foothills School Building (610 8th Street).

Three Downtown Boise Parks Adding Free Wifi

The city of Boise will be adding Wifi to Ann Morrison, Julia Davis and Cecil D. Andrus park! By next fall all three should be dialed and ready for you to connect. According to this article, the city budgeted $2.3 million for the project, with all but $300,000 coming from federal American Rescue Plan Act funds.

Redesigning Expo Idaho - Initial Pitch Envisions Major Revamp of 90-Acre Riverfront Site

Six firms applied to partner with Ada County on a project to redesign Expo Idaho. The top three went on to present their visions before Ada County Commissioners (and the public) a couple of weeks ago.  According to this article, there doesn't seem to be a official project timeline yet "or how all of it would be paid for once federal American Rescue Plan Act funds are expended, but the full process to transform the mothballed Les Bois Park into a public park is expected to take years and be built in multiple phases."
