A commonly asked question is "Where are all of these people coming from?" Most immediately think California. And while there are certainly people moving to the Boise metro area from California, they are also flocking to Idaho from many non-California cities (spoiler: Portland, Twin Falls, Pocatello, Seattle, Denver, Provo & Idaho Falls are all in the top 10). Boise Cloud Software Startup Grabs Big Investment, Now Valued at More than $1 Billon

Based out of Boise, the cloud software firm Tackle.io just landed another huge investment pushing the company value beyond the billion dollar mark. The company's cloud software platform enables Business-to-Business  (B2B) software companies to establish, operate and scale their products through the cloud. Idaho is the Fastest Growing State in the Nation

For those of currently living in the booming Treasure Valley, the news that Idaho is the fastest growing state in the U.S. is not a HUGE surprise. So, while this article isn't exactly shocking, one interesting tidbit that stood out to us is that (according to the Census Bureau) the nation's population grew by just 0.1%, which is (according to the article) "the slowest growth ever in the country". The Census Bureau attributes the slow growth to "fewer people moving internationally to the U.S., decreased fertility, and increased deaths due in part to the COVID-19 pandemic." Boise Urban Renewal Agency Accepts Bid to Develop 20-Story High-Rise, New Downtown YMCA

A $180 million proposal with the potential to bring up to 626 housing units downtown was recently accepted by Boise’s urban renewal agency, the Capital City Development Corporation (CCDC). If a development agreement is finalized, it will bring five new buildings, including a 20-story high-rise, hundreds of new apartment units, 700 parking stalls and a new Treasure Valley YMCA to downtown Boise.
