Boise Housing Market Flourishes as People Leave Cities

If you missed it, the Today Show recently covered the growth we're seeing (and feeling)! “A lot of people looked at their lives and said ‘If I’m going to live someplace, why not live someplace I’ve always wanted to live, or go somewhere more affordable, or go somewhere with more recreational opportunities?’ Well the answer for many many people, is Idaho.” That is the intro to the piece - they go on to cover some of the growing pains locals are experiencing. Idaho's Rural-to-Urban Population Shift Continues Amid Growth

This article examines Idaho's growth honing in on growth patterns, broken down by city size. "Idaho’s eight cities with populations of more than 50,000 grew 2.3% between 2019 and 2020, while Idaho’s 177 smallest cities (with populations below 10,000) grew slower at 1.7%.
