Best State Capitals to Live In – 2021 Edition

According to a
recent SmartAsset report,
Boise ranked among the Top 10 Most Livable State Capitals. "Boise, Idaho ranks eighth in the category of employment and education. That includes the fourth-lowest unemployment rate in this study, a rate of 3.0% for June 2021. The city’s income went up
22.00% over the past five years, the 14th-highest jump observed overall." You can check out the whole report

Boise's West Bench is Getting a New Paved Pathway Connecting Two Parks and Hundreds of Homes.

Boise Mayor Lauren McLean recently announced the city’s first project in what will be an
ongoing effort to develop a network of pathways along Boise's canals. This first project will be to pave a half-mile connection between Milwaukee St and Cole Rd (right behind Capital High School), which will effectively connect

Governor Little Wants Businesses to Build Affordable Housing, Provide Child Care. Here’s How.

A few days ago, Govenor Brad Little joined representatives from across Idaho at the Association of Counties annual conference. According to
this Idaho Statesman article, when one county representative described Idaho’s housing supply crisis
as “the biggest barrier today with our economy in Idaho across the board in every county,” the governor said it “breaks his heart” to see Idaho’s young people unable to buy homes. He went on to discuss the potential of offering bridge financing for people

recently announced a partnership with Adler Industrial to build a new 194 acre industrial park in North Nampa. Mike Adler, President of Adler Industrial is
quoted as saying: “We are excited to be working with the Nampa Development Corporation to develop a
best-in-class Industrial Park that will attract businesses and jobs to Nampa.”
