SmartAsset recently analyzed the largest U.S. cities to determine how they compared in terms of affordable early retirement. After comparing various factors, including: health insurance costs, effective income tax, cost of living, taxes, crime rates, medical facilities and unemployment rates, etc. they identified Boise has being among the top 5. Idaho's Popularity: Moving Companies Provide Different Story

Check out this article to discover how United identified Idaho as being number one - while U-Haul put Idaho way down the list (at 30).
