Sneak Peak Inside Nampa's New Amazon Warehouse

Idaho Press and KTVB recently provided sneak peaks inside the Treasure Valley's new 650,000 square foot Amazon warehouse. Said to house about 40 million items, this new facility will process hundreds of thousands  of orders daily (and offer approximately 2,000 new jobs). Growing Pains: What Rapid Growth Means For The Future Of The Treasure Valley

Idaho Ranks First Among States for Financial Stability

Leading all 50 states for best financial shape, Idaho's economic rebound continues to strengthen. According to Governor Brad Little, "We’re far better off in Idaho than elsewhere, thanks to our handling of the pandemic and fiscal conservatism in state government – our management of the state budget and watchful eye on regulations. Cities Where Renters Can Afford to Live Alone – 2020 Edition

In this study, SmartAsset compared the 100 largest U.S. cities across five metrics: average rent for a unit with fewer than two bedrooms, percentage of housing units with fewer than two bedrooms, median earnings for full-time workers, cost of living, and unemployment rate to determine which cities were most affordable to live alone.  Boise made the Top 10. 11 Idaho Restaurants Win Wine Spectator Awards, 6 in Boise Area

Idaho Construction Continues to Boom During the Pandemic

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the construction industry is at a two-decade high. According to the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), approximately 54,200 Idahoans are working in construction. The AGC also reported that there are many construction jobs available noting that of Idaho’s 6,893 construction firms, 83% have openings in hourly craft jobs.
