I moved to Boise in 1997 and went to Boise State University. I ended up working in healthcare and while using Boise as my home base, I traveled all over the United States taking short-term contracts. I spent time in hundreds of cities until eventually settling down in Seattle and then Flagstaff, Arizona.
As they say, “absence makes the heart grow fonder,” and the entire time I’ve been away from Boise I’ve been desperate to come back. At this point, you would be hard-pressed to find someone that loves and appreciates the Boise area and all that it has to offer more than I do. It is beautiful, safe, family-friendly, and packed with things to do. It has changed so much since my early days here but I find myself loving and embracing the change and growth as it brings even more diversity, opportunity, and creative expansion to our city.
Coming back to Boise, I knew that I didn’t want to be in healthcare anymore and l was looking for my passion. Throughout the years, I have had my hands in many things ‘Real Estate;’ I took courses and apprenticed as an appraiser, I bought and sold 9 homes (some that my husband and I flipped together), and I owned a real estate photography business.
When I thought about what it was that I love to do, the answer was obvious! So, I pursued my Real Estate License and joined Jonna Weber Real Estate at Silvercreek Realty Group in order to help other people with the process that I so enjoy; buying and selling homes!!
I think communication is the most important thing in any relationship and I am well-informed and love to talk about the Boise area and everything that it has been and is becoming!
