Ah, to be young and successful!  Did you ever have a business idea when you were younger?  Maybe you started a lemonade stand on the corner of your street or earned money mowing lawns in your neighborhood. Well, this young entrepreneur has taken his drive to success to the next level!

At just 14 years old, Brighton is already on his second company; Be The Change Bands.  Be The Change Bands is a company that makes quality coin rings for an affordable price and donates 5% of profits to charities.

Brighton says that he has learned a lot since starting his first company; Boot ‘Em Out.  Even though his first company did not produce the results he was hoping for, he understands the role it played on his business journey; He learned the concept of starting a company, running a business, and was introduced to other local entrepreneurs!

So how did Brighton get started on his second company, Be The Change Bands?

Brighton had always had an interest in metal detecting and coin collecting.  He found material about coin rings which peaked his entrepreneurial interest.  Brighton bought a few inexpensive tools to try making coin rings… and he loved it!  He decided to invest the money he made from his previous company to begin his second venture, Be The Change Bands.

Brighton says that it is so much more enjoyable to sell a product you can take pride in making yourself than it is to sell a product that was manufactured.  Be The Changes Bands has been a business for one year, and he has already created a name for himself.  Brighton’s goal is to be self employed as long as he can and with his drive and creative spirit we have no doubt that he will be!
